Empress Wu 1 has 6 big beautiful eyes
Here's a picture of Empress Wu 1 emerging. She has 6 beautiful eyes. I can't wait to watch her unfurl.
Empress Wu 2 doesn't like the sun
We put Empress Wu 2 out in the lilly bed yesterday. Due to the late spring here, there are no leaves on the trees, so it's pretty sunny out there. Today, she got some sun and started to droop real fast. I know she'll grow faster with some sun, but can I keep her healthy? We'll see if she has recovered in the morning. I may have to move her back into shade.

Empress Wu 2 Measurements 04/22/2011
Empress Wu 2 has been planted in a pot. We used a homemade mixture of peat moss, potting soil, and bark. Today measures 20 inches high and her largest leaf is 12" x 9".
We can't wait for her sister to emerge. So far, we can see 6 little pips.
